If you lost your home, your job or your health, what would you do?

There are thousands of people in Jacksonville who have no one to turn to, no one who is able to help them when a crisis occurs in their lives. They are the reason we are here. Every day, Sulzbacher Center is home to more than 340 homeless members of our community, many of whom are children. But we offer more than a night’s lodging and a free meal. We are a place for reinventing lives and for restoring hope. We help people in need find the way home.

Here are just a few of the services we offer:

  • Safe Shelter - over 340 beds, filled every night
  • Case management - one-on-one support for every resident
  • Medical, dental and mental health care - 1,200 patients, cared for every month
  • Nutritious daily meals - 1,200 meals, served every day
  • Job placement assistance and life skills education
  • Specialized children’s services
  • Street outreach
